The Porsche boxer engine is unique and the vehicles it powers are legendary. With this package, you can build a transparent functional model of the 2-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine from 1966 in around three hours. 290 components, some of which are movable, can simply be plugged and screwed together - without any glue. The crankshaft, pistons and valves move in realistic interaction. The transparent housing parts make the mechanics of the boxer engine visible and comprehensible from the outside. Even the ignition sparks in the cylinders are simulated with LEDs. Created in cooperation with the Porsche Museum, the accompanying book offers entertainment and knowledge about Porsche and the 911. The contents are illustrated with a large number of historical photos, drawings and posters from the Porsche archive.
