The company Mayser from Lindenberg in the Allgäu region took second place this year with its 'Ultrasonic Safety' solution for workpiece protection in HRC applications. This solution uses an ultrasonic sensor for personal protection in the robot environment. The model has already been type-tested and approved for personnel protection. The ultrasonic sensors have an elliptical sound field with a safe measuring distance of up to 200 cm and a warning field of up to 250 cm.
