In addition to the SimaticManager- and TIA-programmable S7-compatible controllers, Insevis offers various S7 panels with fast page changes and long availability, without Windows. The WinCCflexible-like visualization software imports S7 variables including symbols from the SimaticManager or TIA project with just a few mouse clicks. According to the manufacturer, the scope of performance is more than sufficient for operation and monitoring: This includes a fault message system, 64 trend channels, 64 × 256 recipe data records, user administration and a simulator, without any restrictions due to PowerTags or a RunTime license per device. From an S7 CPU (also Siemens or Vipa) connected via RFC1006 (S7 communication) and identified by IP address, the process data is loaded into the PC and displayed with the Insevis software almost like an additional panel. In addition, archive (log) data can be recorded on the PC during the connection and saved there as a csv file.
