Kistler presents the Kiroad Performance on-board electronics, a mobile and compact control unit that enables the company's 'RoaDyn' wheel force sensors to be configured quickly and safely. It processes the measurement data and at the same time supports intuitive wireless operation of the wheel force measurement systems on the vehicle and, in future, on the test bench. When the system is started, the on-board electronics read in the individual characteristics of the individual wheel force sensors. It automatically recognizes which sensor is connected to which input. This enables reliable identification and simple parameterization of the sensors as well as process reliability. With the 'Kicenter' software, all settings can be controlled wirelessly via a mobile device using the intuitive, web-based graphical user interface. Support and service assistance is also possible through direct control of the on-board electronics and sensors. The on-board electronics supply power to all wheel force sensors and process the raw signals from the measuring cells in a cross-talk and lever arm-compensated manner.
