Dr. Lutz Jänicke is responsible for the security of products and solutions at Phoenix Contact. After studying electrical engineering, he has become a specialist in cyber security in 18 years at the company, for example as head of development for firewall products. He is currently Corporate Product & Solution Security Officer in the Digital Processes and Solutions division. Jänicke is a recognized expert in security technologies and has been involved in many open source projects. He is involved, sometimes in a leading role, in standardization and committee work on industrial cyber security.
