Moxa offers an industrial edge-to-cloud connectivity solution for use in smart factories: The MC-1121 is an industrial IoT gateway that uses Microsoft Windows 10 IoT and OPC UA Publisher to monitor machine status at factory level. The gateway collects data from various sensors such as motor speed, temperature and coolants. Once collected, the gateway sends the data to the Microsoft Azure Cloud using the OPC UA Publisher module in Windows 10 IoT. According to the provider, the MC-1121 is the only Microsoft Azure-certified automation computer in the world. The manufacturer's IIoT gateways include a range of interfaces for Ethernet, serial and I/O devices and can be used together with Microsoft Connected Device Studio.
