Patients with cardiac arrhythmias are increasingly having catheters inserted to prevent strokes, for example. Difficulties can arise in reaching the target structure in the heart because the anatomy of each patient is different. This can lead to major risks for the patient and longer operations or jeopardize the success of the operation in general. Laralab's software uses specialized algorithms - such as CT or cardiac ultrasound images - to precisely determine the patient's anatomy before the procedure and give the cardiologist recommendations for action. Furthermore, artificial intelligence can be used to tailor the implant systems for each operation. The software enables the cardiologist to place the catheter in the best possible position and perform the procedure with a higher success rate and faster than before.
