Spectra is expanding its range of industrial mini PCs with the PowerBox 3000A series. The fanless computers have a footprint of 227 mm × 261 mm and are available in three heights (88, 108 and 128 mm) for different expansion options. The Intel Q170 chipset in conjunction with 6th generation Intel Core i processors (Skylake) and up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory provide computing power. The integrated Intel HD graphics enable the operation of three independent displays. An LED indicates at all times whether the internal temperature of the system is within the permissible operating range. At its maximum height, the housing offers space for two PCI/PCIe plug-in cards and three additional Mini PCIe modules as well as an optional expansion module, which is already fitted with a prefabricated front panel and only needs to be plugged in without any further cabling. Extensions with 4 × GbE or 4 × PoE are possible and also with M12 connections. A total of up to 20 LAN connections can be implemented, for example.
