Schurter is expanding the 'MSM Metal Line' range to include a push-button series with multicolor lighting. The new variants are available with homogeneous ring or surface illumination. An illumination color can be selected from seven possible colors in a product for various status displays. The individual colors are easy to control thanks to the coded blade terminals. Three blade terminals are used to control the colors red, green and blue. By combining several connections, the additive colors cyan, magenta, yellow or white can be mixed. At 19, 22 or 30 mm, the push-buttons in the MSM Multicolor family have the same diameter as the push-buttons in the standard MSM family. The surface-illuminated multicolor push-buttons with housing diameters of 19 or 22 mm are equipped with an actuator made of scratch-resistant ceramic. The housing for both illumination variants is made of robust stainless steel. The seal protection and impact resistance values of IP67 and IK07 make the push-buttons particularly suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions or in applications that require protection against vandalism.
