Groschopp's Hygienic Design drives are based on the company's "Silver Line" models, which have been used in the NUG industry for years. The motors are made of stainless steel, have an IP69 protection rating and are highly resistant to chemicals. All components comply with FDA regulations. At the same time, the motors are easy to clean: regardless of the installation position, there are no flat surfaces; all internal and external radii are greater than 3 mm. There are also no weld seams or unevenness caused by the use of screws. The surface roughness is less than Ra 0.8 µm. The stainless steel motors will be available as synchronous, asynchronous or brushed motors, for example. Each motor type can be supplied as a hygienic design variant or, following certification, with an EHEDG certificate.
