RockStar ModuPlug from Weidmüller is a modular connector and, according to the supplier, is designed for the future: With individual modules, users combine many required functions for the transmission of power, signals and data in one interface. Thanks to the diverse selection of module sizes, users can accommodate more applications in one connector. At the same time, the connector reduces space requirements and costs. The high-power module, a 100 A module, is available in the "Single Plus 1.5" width. It is narrower than the market standard and creates space for additional modules. The high-speed module is a compact 2-pole bus module and accommodates both megabit and gigabit data inserts. This means that up to two Cat 6A cables with 10 Gbit each can be integrated in one module.
