With the XC300, Eaton offers a flexible controller that enables machine and system builders to implement a lean automation concept in combination with the "XN300" I/O system and the "XV300" touch panel. The system's high-performance processor enables cycle times of <1 ms. An integrated OPC server allows standardized data transmission in M2M communication, so that the controller can be seamlessly integrated into automation architectures for Industry 4.0. The Linux-based system is programmed with Codesys 3 and supports interfaces and fieldbus protocols from CANopen, easyNet and Modbus RTU to Ethercat, Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP through to OPC UA/Scada.
