The IMU F99 inclination sensor from Pepperl+Fuchs provides stable inclination values for dynamic applications such as construction, agricultural and forestry machinery, wind turbines or AGVs because external disturbance variables (e.g. potholes) are filtered out without delay. Software adjustment is carried out via CAN bus.

The dynamic inclination sensor measures both rotation rates and accelerations in all three spatial directions and then merges these into an angle value using an intelligent algorithm. This enables a stable angle output. As the different types of machine movement nevertheless require an individually adapted fusion of the rotation rate and acceleration, these can be set so that position measurements of a wheel loader, a bulldozer, a crane, etc. are possible with one device.

In addition, the inclination sensor also provides the rotation and acceleration rates in three axes in parallel to the angle output.
