A new touch panel from Christ Electronic is available in sizes from 18.5 to 23.8 inches. A cooling system enables a completely closed design, without fans or ventilation slots. The UPS integrated into the housing ensures a controlled shutdown and thus prevents data loss. The panel can be used as a PC, SmartMonitor (for remote solutions) or monitor. Thanks to the IP69 enclosure design, no liquids or dust can penetrate the device. The stainless steel panel meets all EHEDG requirements for the design of hygienic machines, is GMP-compliant and CE-certified. All materials used that come into direct or indirect contact with the products have been selected so that they can withstand cleaning with most common disinfectants, cleaning agents and high-pressure cleaners without any problems. The glass used for the display is chemically hardened. The display is also protected by a PET protective film. The touch panel is equipped with multi-touch as standard and, according to the manufacturer, can also be used with thin rubber gloves without any problems. For a high degree of flexibility, up to 8 buttons are available, which can be freely assigned and printed. These also comply with protection class IP69. An emergency stop button is integrated as standard.
