Safemaster STS from Dold
© Dold

Dold is expanding the Safemaster STS safety switch and key transfer system with an additional safety switch with guard locking. Up to three command and signaling functions can be integrated into this switch, which combines the advantages of safety switches, guard locking, key transfer and command functions in just one system. Safety requirements up to Cat. 4/PLe or SIL 3 are met. The integrable command and signaling elements enable the integration of command, signaling and emergency stop functions into both new and existing safety concepts. The Safemaster STS system can therefore be used to control command functions, status displays, releases and main and maintenance access points. This means that control signals, such as emergency stop or acknowledgement of the safety gate, can be triggered directly at the access points of machines and systems. In addition to emergency stop push-buttons, illuminated push-buttons and push-buttons or selector switches are also available. Thanks to its slim design, the robust plastic housing can be mounted on safety fences to save space. The optional M23 plug-in connectors enable quick commissioning and minimize wiring work. The safety switch with guard locking is optionally available with auxiliary and emergency release as well as with actuator of coding level 'medium'.
