Dell EMC is launching three new servers for software-defined storage, edge and high-performance computing (HPC) environments: The R6415, R7415 and R7425 servers add new features to the 14th generation Poweredge series. With up to 32 cores (64 threads), eight memory channels and 128 PCIe lanes, AMD's EPYC processors offer high flexibility and security features for today's software-defined environments. The servers are designed to scale with customers' increasing workloads and are flexible for use in modern data centers. Like all 14th generation Poweredge servers, the new systems offer a scalable business architecture and intelligent automation with iDRAC9 and Quick Sync 2 management. The integrated security functions of the cyber-resilient architecture are designed to protect companies and their data. They have an extended storage capacity of up to 4 TB for database management systems (DBMS) and analytics workloads and are designed for edge computing applications, for example.
