... companies are on the move: they mostly use online channels for employer branding. This figure has risen slightly from 62% last year to currently 63%. However, there is a downward trend in job advertisements: In the previous year, 68% of employers still disseminated their job advertisements via social media; in 2016, this figure is 63%. 10% of respondents stated that they check the profiles of applicants on social media (2015: 9%). According to Staufenbiel, there is a clear trend towards greater integration of social media. However, they still play no role at all for 14% of companies.
