With the Almemo 500 data logger, Ahlborn is launching a device variant on the market that can be operated intuitively via an 8-inch tablet with a pre-installed app and also allows several users to access the data logger simultaneously via an integrated WLAN hotspot. This is made possible by a web service. Alternatively, the data logger can log into an existing WLAN or LAN network in order to access the data logger via the company network or VPN, for example. The user configures the hotspot via a configuration website integrated into the data logger, for example to set the network name or encryption. In addition to the measurement data visualization, the entire configuration of the data logger and all connected sensors can be carried out on the tablet. Different sensor types can be connected via galvanically isolated, independent measurement inputs; existing sensors can also be connected via the intelligent 'Almemo' connectors. The standard version offers 20 inputs; up to ten channels per measurement input are possible when using the 'D7' sensor generation. The logger measures time-synchronously at a maximum speed of 4000 measurements/s. The measured values are displayed as individual measured values, measured value lists, via freely configurable displays or as a line diagram. Historical measurement curves from the measured value memory can be loaded offline or while a measurement is running. The device is equipped with a 0.82 inch OLED display for visualizing system messages.
