To be able to communicate securely with banks or mail order companies via the Internet, users need a variety of different passwords. These should not be too simple, otherwise they can be cracked all too easily. So you have to either memorize complex sequences of letters and numbers or write them down on a cheat sheet. Stefan Genchev (17) believes that this can become cumbersome in the long run - and has written 'My ePass' software that can keep the daily password chaos in check. It not only manages all passwords, but also remembers which websites you have already registered on. Depending on the site visited, it automatically only reveals the private data that is absolutely necessary.
