The first application framework for massive MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) for faster 5G prototyping also premiered at NI Week. The Labview-based reference design, in combination with NI software-defined radio (SDR) hardware, provides a parameterized and reconfigurable physical layer that can be used to create both classic MIMO and massive MIMO prototypes.
