The compact EN-A3 embedded system from MSC Technologies does not require a fan in the temperature range from 0 to 45 °C. As an inexpensive entry-level model, the box PC is suitable for a wide range of Industry 4.0 applications, e.g. as a gateway or for controlling displays. The Intel I210IT dual Gigabit Ethernet controller integrated in the EN-A3 is IEEE 1588-compliant (Precision Time Protocol, PTP). The EN-A3 embedded system integrates a Mini-ITX board with Intel Atom processor E3845 as standard, which is clocked at 1.91 GHz.
