With the new generation of the Sinamics Perfect Harmony GH180, Siemens is optimizing the proven medium-voltage inverter. Thanks to the new PCB cell design with narrower and lighter cells in the inverter, it generates more power, which is also made possible by the new transformer design. This reduces the overall width by around 20 % compared to similar inverters in this class. The weight-reduced cells, which can be removed without tools, and the front-mounted, replaceable fan improve user-friendliness. Thanks to its compatibility with almost all motor types, the medium-voltage inverter is suitable for a wide range of applications in power generation, mining and the metal, cement, chemical, water, oil and gas industries.
