The AGE-X Serval+ from Imago has eight PCIe slots for frame grabbers, additional GigE or USB ports, LED controllers, fieldbuses or other peripherals. The previous functions of the RTCC real-time controller are designed as plug-in cards, meaning that triggering PoE GigE controllers, LED controllers and digital I/Os can be scaled almost at will, for example to a variant with eight GigE ports, eight LED controllers and eight digital inputs and outputs each, according to the manufacturer. The system can trigger the cameras either via the eight integrated trigger outputs or via the GigE cable in real time. As the provider also qualifies PCIe cards from other manufacturers for series production, the worlds of CoaxPress and CameraLink HS are also available, as are 10GigE and Thunderbolt interfaces. Users receive a fully configured computer for the application, including peripheral components and cables on request.
