Chromasens is expanding its portfolio of high-resolution 3D cameras with two devices - the 3DPixa HR 5 µm and the 3DPixa HR 2 µm with improved image quality thanks to optics optimized for 3D applications. With a detection width of around 35 mm and a maximum scanning speed of 30 kHz, the 3DPixa HR 5 µm ensures very short inspection times at resolutions of 5 µm. The 3DPixa HR 2 µm was designed for applications with even higher resolution and accuracy requirements and achieves a scanning width of 16 mm. Typical areas of application are in electronics, semiconductor technology and the automotive sector. The optical design of the 3D cameras has been adapted for the required high resolution. According to the manufacturer, the interaction between camera electronics and optics has also been improved. The result is, for example, greater image sharpness at the edges. The two 3D line scan cameras support various image processing libraries such as Halcon, MIL, Labview and Coake.
