Qioptiq presents lenses for micro-inspection in short-wave infrared (SWIR) with image sensors optimized for this purpose. OEMs can flexibly configure modular 'Optem-Fusion' microscope systems with the SWIR lenses. The optical design of the SWIR objectives has been revised from the ground up and adapted to the wavelength range from 900 to 1700 nm. According to the manufacturer, special coatings ensure high transmission across the entire spectral range. In order to implement the variability of 'Optem Fusion' in the SWIR spectrum, Qioptiq has optimized numerous optical components for use with the lenses. In future, there will be a sevenfold zoom, components for fixed magnifications, objectives and tube lenses with different magnifications as well as beam splitters for coaxial illumination. Zoom and focus can be motorized to enable fully automated inspection solutions. Thanks to the different tube lenses, the system supports all SWIR cameras currently available on the market.
