Siemens quarterly figures Q1/2021Signs point to growth
Siemens today announced its figures for the first quarter of 2021. The Group management speaks of an excellent start and is significantly raising its forecast for the year.

Earnings before income taxes are mainly attributable to the debt financing business; however, as expected, the contribution to earnings was below the previous year's level. Earnings from the investment business fell sharply, particularly as Q1/20 included a gain from the sale of an investment.
