Mobile Industrial Robots - Autonomous robot 'MiR250 Hook':
The 'MiR250 Hook' from MIR can automatically pick up and move transport trolleys. With a trailer system, the autonomous robot moves loads of up to 500 kg. It is an update of the 'Hook' robots that have been on the market since 2016. With the help of a trailer attachment with a hook, these can transport trolleys automatically. The 'MiR250 Hook' brings the transport trolleys to their destination without human intervention. Thanks to its robust design, it is suitable for industrial environments and can also cope with uneven floors or small ramps. It reaches a speed of up to 2 m/s.
Hardly any preparation is needed to use the autonomous robot: standard transport trolleys or containers are already marked with QR codes or AprilTags so that the robot can recognize them. Before it is used for the first time, the robot scans its surroundings once to record an internal map. Alternatively, users can download a map of the operating environment with just a few clicks on the robot.
