The VDMA surveyed its members on the subject of product piracy. The result: the threat and the damage remain at a high level. However, Germany is not only a victim.

Many counterfeits can be discovered via the Internet. However, the question of how companies became aware of counterfeits was still answered by the majority of respondents with "own market knowledge".
