How is the trend towards additive manufacturing affecting the job market? The job platform Joblift investigated this question. It became clear that mechanical and plant engineering in particular is looking for staff.

In addition to designers and mechanical engineers, who were sought in 1,136 advertisements, programmers were particularly in demand in 710 of the vacancies. In addition, 581 of the advertisements were for sales and business development experts and 458 jobs were in research and development.
