Additive manufacturing3D printing in a country comparison
Nowhere is industrial 3D printing more widespread than in Germany. The consulting firm Ernst & Young has now published further interesting details on additive manufacturing in a recent study.

... global turnover with 3D printing to 10 billion euros. German companies alone are already generating an estimated 1 billion euros with 3D-printed products. However, the proportion of turnover generated in relation to total turnover in Germany is still rather small: companies that use 3D printing generate 1.8% of their turnover. In comparison: in the USA, the share of turnover is over 5%, with an average of 3%.
