Signal Light with Segmented Light Function
The new device variant makes it possible to divide the illuminated image into several segments and display machine statuses more precisely, individually and intuitively. For example, two statuses can be signaled simultaneously, thus indicating an even more specific need for action. An automatic scaling function is also possible, allowing process steps or progress to be clearly displayed.
The LineLight Fusion series from Werma integrates the display of machine statuses directly into the machine surface. The flush-mounted, smooth surface of the light module blends seamlessly into the machine housing. The seamless design avoids dirty edges and reliably prevents the ingress of dust or liquids.
With LineLight Fusion Segment, the 200 mm version offers either a continuous light pattern or a division into two 10 mm light segments. From a length of 300 mm, up to three light segments are possible: one continuous illumination, two or three segments, each individually color-controllable. This creates clearly defined segments within the light pattern without the need for additional modules or physical separators. The entire luminaire always remains active, but the individual segments light up simultaneously in different colors - for example to simultaneously signal process status, warnings or approvals. The homogeneous illumination ensures a clear, uniform display and enables very good visibility even from a greater distance. As an option, a loud buzzer can be integrated to provide additional acoustic notification of important machine statuses. Various mounting options are available: The modules can either be screwed in place with variably adjustable clips or attached with industrial adhesive tape. Flexible positioning is possible thanks to movable adapters. Protection class IP54 is achieved. Thanks to a special sealing concept, the luminaire protects the inside of the machine against the ingress of dust and water when installed with protection rating IP65.
