SKS Kontakttechnik offers electrotechnical components and systems, while Pulsotronic is a manufacturer of specific sensor solutions. Both companies bring a workforce of more than 400 employees into the Phoenix Contact Group. According to the company, the takeover of these companies represents the most significant acquisition in the history of Phoenix Contact.

The acquisition of SKS strengthens Phoenix Contact's market position in the field of connection technology solutions. The application know-how of Pulsotronic's sensor technology is a supplement for increasingly digitalized customer and industry solutions.

The company Pulsotronic Anlagentechnik will remain with SKS founder and previous owner Martin Schweitzer.

The transaction is subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.
