On February 9th, the Plagiarius campaign awarded its eponymous defamation prize to manufacturers or retailers of counterfeit products. In addition to consumer goods, industrial components are also frequently among the counterfeit products - as was the case this year.

The design and technology of the 'Puky Racers' scooter (originally left) were taken 1:1 from the company Xingtai Kurbao Toys from China and sold online via alibaba.com. The cheap materials for the housing, wheels and steering wheel and the poor workmanship of the surfaces reflect the inferior quality.
