Plagiarius 2018Product counterfeiters "awarded"
On February 9th, the Plagiarius campaign awarded its eponymous defamation prize to manufacturers or retailers of counterfeit products. In addition to consumer goods, industrial components are also frequently among the counterfeit products - as was the case this year.

The original 'e-X 14' frame profiles from Inditec in Bad Camberg were originally sold by Karthäuser-Breuer GmbH in Cologne (left). Since the middle of last year, the individual company Raminkus from Lindlar has been producing optically identical frame profiles (right in the picture) and selling them itself and via Karthäuser-Breuer.
