On February 9th, the Plagiarius campaign awarded its eponymous defamation prize to manufacturers or retailers of counterfeit products. In addition to consumer goods, industrial components are also frequently among the counterfeit products - as was the case this year.
... the control cabinet heater 'CS 06020.0-00' from Stego-Holding in Schwäbisch Hall. Its design was copied 1:1 from the Chinese company Wenzhou Natural Automation Equipment (see plagiarism on the right). The article number, certificates and operating instructions were also copied from the original, so that misleading confusion is inevitable. Quality and performance are lower than the original. According to the Plagiarius campaign, essential safety standards of the electrical industry have been violated by the copy.
