Cables, connectors etc. are the backbone of every factory. The "smarter" the latter becomes, the higher the demands on the passive elements for signal and energy transmission. Computer&AUTOMATION has compiled the latest products from the field of electromechanics.
Conec has expanded its range of IP67 connectors with bayonet locking to include a power connector variant in addition to the data and bus connectors. The connector series is designed for industrial cabling with IP67 protection. The range includes a 2-pole and a 3-pole version: the 2-pole version of the connector is primarily intended for use with direct voltage up to 48 V(DC), while the 3-pole version is designed with a leading contact for alternating voltages up to 250 V(AC) with protective earth contact (PE). The contacts are designed for cable cross-sections of either AWG 12 to AWG 10 and AWG 10 to AWG 8 for the 2-pole version and AWG 14 to AWG 12 for the 3-pole version. The contacts included in the connector kit are fitted using a crimp connection. The design and cut-outs of the power connectors are based on the existing IP67 RJ45, USB and fiber optic series.
