Product presentationsNews from the field of electromechanics
Cables, connectors etc. are the backbone of every factory. The "smarter" the latter becomes, the higher the demands on the passive elements for signal and energy transmission. Computer&AUTOMATION has compiled the latest products from the field of electromechanics.

Friesland Kabel is presenting flexible, heavy-duty cables with a polyurethane (PUR) sheath, which are suitable for the loops of wind turbines, cranes, passenger boarding bridges at airports or loading terminals in ports, for example. The thermoplastic elastomer polyurethane has rubber-like properties, but is more resistant to abrasion than standard PVC cables. It also offers high tensile strength and flexural fatigue strength as well as increased flexibility at low temperatures. There are currently three variants in the supplier's portfolio: The unshielded connection and control cable H-Flex PWR PUR, the shielded variant H-Flex PWR C-PUR and a shielded instrument cable H-Flex INS C-PUR. All three variants are suitable for the low-voltage range, are flame-retardant and halogen-free and can be laid freely or permanently.
