With the EE33-M humidity and temperature transducer, E+E Elektronik is expanding its 'EE33' transducer series. According to the supplier, a heated humidity sensor, additional heating of the humidity sensor and a separate temperature sensor ensure precise measurement results, even with permanent high humidity. In addition, a special coating protects the humidity sensor from contamination. The core of the transmitter is the 'HMC01' humidity sensor developed using thin-film technology. This monolithic sensor combines the humidity and heating element on a common substrate. The dual heating system (sensor and probe heating) prevents condensation on the sensor and the humidity probe. This minimizes the response time and ensures rapid recovery under condensation conditions. The use of radiation protection is essential outdoors. The special design of the transmitter sensors makes them suitable for installation in a forced-air radiation shield such as the 'LAM630'. The transmitter calculates all RH- and T-related parameters such as dew point temperature, absolute humidity and mixing ratio. With the optional RS485 interface, a network of up to 32 transmitters can be set up.
