Servo assemblies Ölflex Connect Servo, Lapp

With the Ölflex Connect Servo servo assemblies from Lapp, cables and connectors are connected semi-automatically, which according to the manufacturer has advantages in terms of quality and shielding effect. Two further variants have been added to the range: on the drive side, there is now a connector for Fanuc drives in addition to the standards from Siemens, SEW and Rockwell. The Fanuc connector is first molded from two different plastics and then finally overmolded, which enables a smaller design and greater tightness. Together with thin cables from Lapp, this results in space-saving assemblies with smaller bending radii. The seal for the cable is integrated so that it cannot be lost during installation.
On the control side, the range is extended by a connector that has been specially developed for the new generation of controllers in booksize format from Siemens. According to Lapp, this offers a cost-efficient alternative to the Siemens connectors. In addition, the wires of the cable are not screwed, but crimped semi-automatically to the contacts in the connector, which creates a durable connection, is gas-tight and thus prevents oxidation at the contact.
