The ASi-5 Slave/IO-Link Master BWU4067 is one of the first ASi-5 products from Bihl+Wiedemann. The module in a small IP67 housing has four IO-Link ports: two Class A ports and two Class B ports. Up to 32 bytes of process data can be configured, for example to measure current and voltage values, read RFID tags and barcodes or control valve terminals. The process data is transmitted cyclically via ASi - up to 4 x 16 bits of user data are available in 1.27 ms. The module can be parameterized using the provider's software suites. As part of the live parameterization, the user immediately recognizes the specific effects of updated settings and can optimize the configuration immediately if necessary. Like all ASi 5 products, the module can be used in parallel with ASi 3 components in the ASi network.
