Hanover Fair 2016New products in Hanover
"Integrated Industry - Discover Solutions!" was the motto of the world's most important industrial trade fair, Hannover Messe 2016. Computer&AUTOMATION shows an excerpt of the products that were on display in Hanover in a picture gallery.

Michael Koch, manufacturer of energy storage solutions and safe resistors, is launching the DSM4.0 Dynamic Storage Manager on the market. The device makes it possible to balance direct current circuits up to 800 V(DC) voltage level - i.e. to temporarily store excess energy and replace missing energy. The device can handle the various storage media electrolytic and double-layer capacitors and batteries. Depending on the application, the storage units are assigned according to the number of cycles and amount of energy. A DSM4.0 can access several storage units of the same technology so that the amount of energy can be easily expanded. Devices can also access a single memory at the same time to increase performance. In addition, devices for the buffer function can be operated simultaneously with devices for function maintenance on a DC grid. The latest development communicates with the drive controller or a higher-level controller and executes the commands for energy balancing spontaneously. Negative grid feedback can be minimized by reducing peak loads.
