The latest feature from Industrie Informatik is inspection during production. Where previously it was necessary to rely on a loose link to a CAQ system, the company says that today it is possible to take a new, interactive approach to software-supported quality assurance. The company transfers all test specifications, test equipment and test plans from existing sources into its systems and manages them. This information is used to operate almost all other Cronetwork modules. According to the company, this means moving from a reactionary view of qualitative production results after the fact to a proactive role that allows users to react to any quality problems during the production process. Using integrated SPC (Statistical Process Controlling) functionality, the recorded results are also statistically evaluated and visually processed for the user. Full access to all product functionalities allows comprehensive interaction with the automation and machine level, among other things. If, for example, test specifications on a system are not met or adhered to - for whatever reason - organizational measures and workflows can be initiated automatically, right up to automatically stopping the system.
