IntralogisticsGrowth thanks to Industry 4.0
The signs are pointing to growth: according to VDMA annual figures, German intralogistics providers achieved an estimated production volume of EUR 20.8 billion in 2016 - which corresponds to growth of 1%. This is set to be topped next year.

The increased production volume is also reflected in the number of intralogistics employees in Germany, which is estimated to have risen to 122,000 in 2016. The industry also appears to be well positioned for the future: The VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association is forecasting average growth of 3% for the current year 2017.
