With the upgrade to IndraControl L75 with a multi-core processor, Bosch Rexroth claims to have increased the performance of the control hardware by over 25% compared to 'IndraControl L65'. IndraControl L75 extends the performance scaling of Rexroth's controller-based control systems in top-hat rail format upwards. The controller also has fast onboard I/O and, according to the manufacturer, offers simple expandability with inline I/O modules and function modules, such as a cam controller or real-time cross-communication with other controllers. With its multi-Ethernet interface, the 'IndraControl L' controller family supports the real-time protocols Sercos, Ethernet/IP and Profinet as well as fieldbus connection via Profibus. The device platform forms the hardware basis for the motion logic systems 'IndraLogic XLC' for PLC applications, 'IndraMotion MLC' for complex motion applications and 'Indra-Motion MTX' for CNC applications.
