Siemens - Q4 and full year 2017'Digital Factory' is growing the fastest
Siemens has announced its figures for fiscal year 2017, which ended on September 30. The frontrunner in terms of turnover: the 'Digital Factory' division with an increase of 9% on a comparable basis - i.e. excluding currency translation and portfolio effects.

Earnings in the Industrial Business increased by 8% to €9.5 billion. Good results in Building Technologies, Digital Factory, Mobility and Process Industries and Drives outweighed declines in Power and Gas and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. Siemens invested €5.2 billion in research and development, which corresponds to 6.2% of revenue.
