WEKA FACHMEDIEN summer night party
Pettycoat and rock 'n' roll
This year, WEKA FACHMEDIEN's traditional summer night party turned into a 'Fabulous 50's Party'. The guests played a big part in this, as many turned up in authentic outfits. We were there with the photo and video camera.
The 'Alte Kongresshalle' of the former trade fair grounds on Theresienhöhe provided a historic setting in the truest sense of the word for the 'Fabulous 50's Party'. The listed building was built in 1952/53, serves as a cultural and event center and, as mentioned, was the perfect location for a retro party in 50s style. And the guests joined in: Petty coats and tousled hair dominated the look for the female guests and many men had transformed their hair into a rockabilly quiff with lots of gel. A rock 'n' roll band fired up the party and a DJ added more music, so that the last guests left the party very late at night. Everyone agreed on one thing: top theme, top location, top party.
