The core workforce is to be increased, additional jobs created and the range of apprenticeships and dual study programs expanded. This is what the majority of German machine and plant manufacturers want. However, there is a problem.

The majority of companies are planning to increase their workforce in the next six months. More than three out of four respondents (82%) would like to expand their core workforce. Of these companies, 60% expect a moderate increase in staff of up to 5%.
