
RS expands automation portfolio with Leuze products
RS has expanded its automation range to include products from Leuze electronic Germany. The company specializes in sensor solutions for industrial applications.

Rockwell Automation has appointed Gustavo Zecharies as president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, effective immediately. In his new role, Zecharies reports to Scott Genereux, SVP and Chief Revenue Officer, and succeeds Susana Gonzalez, who is leaving Rockwell Automation to pursue other opportunities.

As the "Performance Drivers 2024" study shows, more than two thirds of companies in the DACH region are complaining about bottlenecks with their suppliers. Other burdens include quality problems at suppliers and a sharp rise in transportation costs. The problems in the supply chain are difficult to mitigate, with only around one in five companies describing themselves as truly resilient.

The Harting Technology Group, a provider of industrial connection technology, has announced that it will be bundling supra-regional top management positions in Switzerland to drive forward global management.

Schaeffler presented its business figures for the first quarter of 2024 and surprised with stable revenue figures at constant currency. The Group is sticking to its forecast for the current year despite restructuring measures and the Vitesco merger.

The departure of CEO Jacques Dias on August 31 is being used by Burim Mirakaj, the manager with overall responsibility for the DACH & CEE region, to realign Axians Germany.

Siemens quarterly figures Q1/2024
The first quarter of fiscal year 2024 went well for Siemens: Revenue from September to December 2023 increased nominally by 2% to EUR 18.4 billion, profit after tax by 56% and order intake was also better than many analysts would have expected.

With the departure of company founder and owner Jürgen Hartmann, industrial camera manufacturer IDS Imaging Development Systems is reorganizing its management.

According to Siemens, revenue and order intake increased by 10% and 6% respectively on a comparable basis in the fourth quarter of 2023. In the Industrial Business, Siemens recorded its highest earnings and profitability figures ever.
