Conrad continues Growth Course with new Management
Conrad Electronic is continuing its transformation from a traditional retailer to a B2B platform. The new managers Dr. Daniel Saga and Guy Dann strengthen the strategic focus on different customer segments.
Since May 1, 2025 and September 1, 2025, Dr. Daniel Saga and Guy Dann have expanded the management of Conrad Electronic. As Chief Sales Officers (CSO), the two industry experts are responsible for the two central customer segments: Dr. Saga for 'Digitally Managed Customers' (DMC) and Dann for 'Personally Managed Customers' (PMC).
The differentiation by customer group shows Conrad's strategic focus: DMC customers primarily buy online, while PMC customers use e-procurement solutions and personal support. The expansion of the management team underlines the growth strategy in both areas. "I am delighted to welcome Dr. Daniel Saga and Guy Dann to our midst. We will benefit enormously from their combined expertise to make us even more customer-oriented on our way to becoming Europe's leading procurement platform for technical requirements," says CEO Ralf Bühler.
Dr. Daniel Saga brings around 25 years of experience, including ten years at Amazon, most recently as General Manager EU Consumer for Tools, DIY and Smart Home. "The digitalization of procurement processes offers enormous opportunities for our DMC customers. I look forward to using my expertise in the platform economy to help establish Conrad as Europe's first address for digital B2B procurement of technical requirements," says Saga.
Guy Dann has more than 30 years of international management experience, including at RS Group and Rutronik. "I am really looking forward to this exciting task and will do my utmost to expand the business internationally by leveraging our more than 100 years of experience in distribution and innovation," says Dann.
Conrad Electronic now generates 80% of its sales with business customers and has developed from a traditional technology retailer into a B2B procurement platform. The aim is to become Europe's leading platform for technical requirements.
