Significant Portfolio Expansion

Digikey expanded significantly last year, both in terms of providers and new products (NPI). 455 new providers and more than 1.1 million products in the core business have been added to the distributor's portfolio.

"2024 was a year of investment for Digikey, and a key part of that strategy was to provide the market with new products from innovative vendors," said Mike Slater, Vice President, Global Business Development at Digikey. "The significant additions we've made to our product and vendor portfolio over the past year are directly related to our record-breaking customer base, and we look forward to continuing to provide engineers and designers with industry-leading products in 2025."

Recent additions to 2024 include companies such as Amphenol Airmar, which designs and manufactures high-performance sensors for marine and industrial applications; Halo Electronics, provider of high-quality communication and power solenoids; Menlo Micro, whose portfolio of RF switches combines the benefits of electromechanical and solid-state switches, resulting in reduced size, weight, power and cost; and Jameco, which sells educational and hobby kits to educate and inspire students and electronics enthusiasts.
